Mike Davis Makes Triumphant Return, Submits Natan Levy at UFC Fight Night 239
After an 18-month hiatus, Mike Davis made a resounding comeback on Saturday night at UFC Fight Night 239, leaving a lasting impression with his performance.
On the preliminary card at the UFC Apex, Davis (10-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) etched his name in the record books by becoming the first fighter to finish Israel’s Natan Levy (8-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC), securing a submission victory at 1:43 of Round 2.
While Davis had a solid showing in the first round, he remained relentless in his pursuit of a finish. In Round 2, Davis capitalized on an opportunity when the fight went to the ground, swiftly transitioning to mount and securing an arm-triangle choke, forcing Levy to tap out.
Following his impressive win, Davis wasted no time in calling out potential opponents for his next bout, mentioning Paddy Pimblett, Jim Miller, Clay Guida, or Vinc (Pichel) as possible matchups. Despite his sporadic appearances, Davis has now secured his fourth consecutive victory.
Unfortunately for Levy, who missed weight by half a pound, the defeat marked the end of his two-fight winning streak.
